Baja California's Transpeninsular Highway is 1,061 miles of varied and spectacular scenery, dotted with old mission towns, verdant oases, volcanoes, whale-watching and surf beaches, and all kinds of unique flora and fauna. I head the Astro Verde northward and feel a second wind coming. Ten weeks on the road and I'm ready for more!
